What is the average area of a trapezoid or a trapeze cut half?
A trapezoid is (a + b) / 2 * h where A is the top line and b is the bottom line is the height h (which is * not * the other side unless also that the shape is a rectangle) the area of half of it really depends on whether it is an isosceles trapezoid or not. If it is an isosceles trapezoid, then 1 / 2 is 1 / 2 of it. Otherwise, you will need to calculate the parts individually. There is typically a triangle and a rectangle so I can calculate.
