Flute updates?
I am currently in ninth grade, entering tenth, and I play the flute. I did an audition for the school set high wind, the highest level of the band in their high school to professional level, and made it in. The driver said I have a great vibrato, control of tone and melody. Now I have a Gemeinhardt 2SP same flute. I was looking at upgrading to the 3SHB Gemeinhardt. This is open holed flute, the embouchure is Solid Silver, the body is silver, joint has more foot ab Gizmo key, and Stainless Steel springs. The flute can also have the g key set or straight. Should I upgrade?
In short: Have your flute teacher! They are a better judge of his ability to play previously unknown.
