Does a silver “round” have to display .999? Bendix King?

I have a coin made from a company called Bendix King. On the front side it says 1992, and on the back there is a communications wire and radio. It’s about the size of an American Eagle $1.

You have a medal made to honor a company, it could have been used in advertising or a giveaway. It is made of copper/nickel and not silver. Special medals like this made in silver would have the .999 due to the cost of making them. They would want the recipient to know it is silver for many reasons. Dollar size medals are quite common in the US as well as Canada for advertising as well as gifts few are silver. The Bendix King co. makes avionics and radios are a part of that. Hope this helps
