About Silver Oak Wine
What You Can or not know about Elvis Presley is that his nickname "King" today means more than just refer to him being the King of Rock 'n Roll. The varieties available
There are three main varieties of wine from Graceland Cellars Silver Oak and are available in many cases if necessary. All you need do is check with the dealer in your area that carries the label if you want more information on the subject. We have listed these three main varieties as follows:
Blue Suede Chardonnay – Chardonnay California a brilliant combination with a flavor of apple, citrus, floral and pear aromas. The aroma is followed by a reaction to the pleasant taste of apple pie mixed with apricot, fig, peach and flavors. It ends with a light touch of toast and butter and vanilla making it a well-balanced Chardonnay.
Jailhouse Red Merlot – A California merlot that is both vibrant and youthful, with an aroma that is very similar to a mixed berries and a variety of different herbs. This Merlot varietal characteristics characteristics such as green olives, currants, sage and wild berries. His roasted flavor can be attributed to the manner in which is aged in French oak barrels to create the soft but soft aroma and tannins of Merlot. It is a medium-bodied wine that is pleasant for wine tasting party or a glass to drink.
The King Cabernet Sauvignon – Ruby Red color, vibrant color makes this a welcome addition to any collection wine or stock. This is a juicy, lush, mature and wine that has an intensely aromatic blend of blackberry, black cherry and currant flavors. It is smooth and without however, features a toasted oak aroma accented by a hint of spice and some slightly dry tannins. This is definitely one of the softer end of a well-rounded Cabernet Sauvignon.
On a closing note, although it took a few years, oak wine achieved a silver award-winning status and won three medals – one bronze one silver, and gold one – in 2004. In addition to its current product line, Graceland Cellars also features the private collection of Elvis Presley whose labels represent various scenes from "The King".
