What does everyone think of an ACOG mounted on a bolt action rifle?
I have a wild 10fp model on layaway and have been thinking about what scope to arrive. I have a 308 long-range set for a Nikon 4.5-14×40mm and love, but I'm looking for something different. what does all about mounting an ACOG to bolt action rifle? I used a while I was in service, but usually only see them in semi autos. I'm not looking for pin point accuracy, I just want a gun Piston nice to attack targets in different ranges from 50 to 300 meters. I have an ar with an EOTech and a Remington 700 with a Nikon, it gets old drill holes small to large distances. just looking to do something different, and the weapons I like the bolt semi-autos.
