How are the club owners welcome you on behalf of the bands of not wanting to set up lighting (even if it is our own team)?
club owners will turn the lights during a whole if you ask?
Generally not, likely, probably not, unless develop a relationship with them and they love you. In the name of a non – band, probably will be playing in the slot of the first or last, and in general, you'll have more time to establish whether you are the first space, you have to break in a hurry to make room for the next band – time = money. So sincerely, I would skip the light show, which is simple, and focus on playing a good game. Eventually, after you have a couple shows down and the club owner knows, maybe be more willing to fit you. Wait, are you saying that you want the club owner to run the lights as well? Really? Yes, not count on it. I did not even ask – The owner has better things to do, as people make money selling beer and other things.
