anyone here has experience working as a social worker and what it is, do u need a heart of stone?
I really want to do something to help people especially children, can you tell me a little about what would it be? any information appreciated. what I mean by the heart Comment stone is that they see much shit so, the feelings and emotions have to be completely ignored in any way?
I am a social worker students, so I'm starting to learn these things, but I know that if I had a heart of stone who would choose not be a social worker. You must take care to do work, but you also have to be able to 'switch off' when it's time to go home. You see some very uncomfortable situations and a good support team will, to deal with that, but if you are very close personally to all children to work with you will not be able to handle a load of 20 children. You have to wonder if you care enough for someone to fight in an unjust system and do everything possible to keep them safe, but also the distance that could get you to the next case? And that is a question that only you can answer.

Chakra Stones – a gentle method of healing
Chakra stones can be traced all the way back to ancient India.
