OK to wear my Engagement Ring even though we are getting divorced?
My husband and I have been married almost 19 years. When we married my husband couldn’t afford a nice engagement ring so through the years he has given me a bigger diamond, a Diamond Wrap and a Diamond Anniversary band. Our son helped him pick out the wrap one year for Christmas. Now I find out that he is having an affair and has decided he wants a divorce so he can continue his relationship with the other woman. I should say that I do not want the divorce but have no choice or say in matter. My Wedding Band is going to be put in my jewelry box for my daughter or son. But, I’d like to still wear my engagement ring but I want to wear it on my Right Hand. It is a beautiful ring and I hate to lock it away. Would it be OK to wear it on my right hand, middle finger even though we are getting divorced?
