One hour – every day – at four
Every day at four in the morning, I stop whatever I'm doing to watch my favorite soap opera. Volume the phone off the hook, lock the door, sit with a cup of freshly brewed coffee, and escape. It has become an addiction. One that I like to have.
Almost Every time I do this, I am amazed at how much better the lives of these people are than mine. There are some basic facts, ladies and gentlemen, that apply only telenovela people, women in particular.
The women in soap operas are always extremely beautiful. The women in soap operas do not walk through one bedroom slide. The women in soap operas are never without a man for over three hours. That is, if your relationship is storybook break point can always be sure that there is another Adonis waiting just around the scene. The women in soap operas never do laundry, clean toilet bowls, or a vacuum. Women soap operas have never a hair out of place or a chopped clove. I remember one particular scene that illustrates this because it is parallel to the same situation in my life. I was at the airport saying goodbye to my friend. A girl in the soap opera was at the airport saying goodbye to her lover.
I will never forget her appearance. One way perfect tear down her face glowed luminous compound. The wind blew through his bright blond hair. (I wondered at the time, where the wind came out of the way the airport). A symphony of Beethoven was playing in the background, and dozens of beautiful, white Casablanca lilies cascading around outside of heaven, (must have been a hole in the roof of the airport), as her lover took her hand in hers and kissed her tenderly.
In my situation, there was not much more than a tear. My face was not bright, was wet. No flash, was too steeped in mascara and pancakes are to shine too. The only music I remember was sony walkman a man of strange appearance of something less than romantic blasting in the background. I remember all this, because it drowned the sound of what my friend told me at that time. I have a strong suspicion that she was fired, but I never know for sure.
Human beings behave differently in the soaps. Have you ever seen People go swimming in a soap opera? Women come to the gold pool, wraparound dresses rolled their skimpy bikinis, which coincides with the flecks of gold in their eyes. Men, I am sure, come directly from their previous employment with Playgirl magazine. If either party really gets wet, you can be sure that as they arise out of the water hair pieces suddenly enough, by the middle of the forehead, miraculously, similar to the separation of the Red Sea. The men's bodies glisten with oil. Somehow, a small man with a can of oil should have been there at the bottom of the pool. Many times, I waited by my pool, (as is) with the hope of some man, any man would emerge, tanned and well oiled, all in vain.
And have you noticed what is being sick in a soap opera? Almost Feel Like rush to collect as many seeds as you can find, just so you can be admitted to the wonderful places of recovery. terminally ill never look terminal in a soap. They look lovely. Are at their perfectly formed by Wamsutta bed while being treated by doctors who are remarkably like Robert Redford and Tom Cruise.
And most of them seem to have sudden and surprising recovery. Of course, with physicians as those who could blame. Even the dead in the soaps look wonderful. If you really have to go someday, God willing, it is in a soap. I love the world I remember that way.
Let's face it. People in soaps are not attending to the daily realities. I do not remember a single person going to the telenovela San Juan. I have given this great thought, and have decided they simply do not have to do that sort of thing. They go to the powder room (which is much more civilized), to verify that there is nothing wrong, but God knows which could not be improved.
The people in soap operas do not cook much. Rarely have I seen anyone sweat over a hot stove. Just eat. That should be at why all are still so slender. When you feel the need to enjoy, so you can be sure to be in his establishment favorite local restaurants. Probably a place called? The Escargot Room? where they are greeted by a very distinguished Frenchman named Pierre, brought to his private table, where, of course, their usual roses red candles Waterford crystal and hoped them. All these details more than evident. They are often alone in the restaurant, so there are always plenty of room on the dance floor immaculate marble.

In recent times, has also never occurred to me that people in soap operas seem to pay the bills, dental floss, or change your kid's diapers. And you know something, I would not in any other way. If I wanted to see it, should not turn on the TV. You can keep your reality. Fantasy Dame!
At least for an hour – every day – At four.
