Ways to cut a cable?
I accidentally lost my only key cable lock for my bike, my bike is waiting now secured tightly in a local shopping destination, both chassis and the front wheel attached and closed. The thing is that without the key number or a spare that I have just to cut the cable lock, time is limited. But what are the right ways to do? Two ways come to mind. Both ways will destroy the cable lock. 1. Using a large pair of pliers to cut the cable. 2. (My preferred method) Get to 4 pounds short handled hammer (aka: Jack individual), 1-inch wide chisel and a large chunk of shares in iron to act as support. Place the cable through the back iron, stock, and then while use eye protection, the center of the 1-inch chisel on cable, then using the hammer, cut the cable in half. (This is a preferred method of industrial cutting Stainless Steel wire).
