What happens in a Catholic church wedding?
I'm getting married in a few months and my boyfriend is Catholic and I'm not. We are having a ceremony massless. We have selected readings. I'm confused about the whole process because I do not know and do not want to be on the altar confusing day of my wedding. Who sings the psalm and the gospel reading? When we honor the Virgin Mary with flowers are supposed to make the sign of the cross? Any information that can be shared with respect to everything that has to do with a Catholic wedding would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
Honestly, really no different from any other wedding. The priest will guide you through when you say what is supposed to say, as does a test at the wedding and you are guided through their responsibilities and their responsibilities. My wife did well, except that she could not speak loudly
