Need to retrieve a Diamond Ring. Help?
Just bought a second ring-hand on ebay, I want it to look brand new before they give … It is a diamond ring 5 stone 1.25 carat Marquise, as well as the polished stones and what not. What does all this cost me? Where can I do? How long could you take? Its White Gold by the way
When you say polished stones, are you referring to the surface of their own diamonds? If so, it will cost, and will take some additional time, not to mention that you may lose a little weight in carats. If you just say they want to clean the ring, and scratches removed from the band, then any jeweler can do this for a pretty nominal fee. Depending on your location, anywhere from "free" to $ 50 for cleaning and polishing, you can be there to see your teeth and stuff. If the ring of the needs of any tooth work done, you would be looking at anywhere $ 25 – $ 100 tip, according to the same, and exactly what type and amount of work needs to be done. Enjoy your local jeweler to mount independent – any reputable jeweler will give you an estimate for repairs at no cost. Allow 2-7 days for the price, another 3-7 for the repair work, could be faster, depending on the work to be done, and the jewelry business. Remember to work with precious metals is not quick or easy.
