Wedding Rings? Does have to be just a Wedding Band?
I know if a man gets an Engagement Ring, it’s usually ring with a band and a stone on top. As for wedding rings, in most cases it’s just a band, can my Wedding Ring be with a stone on top or just a band? Just curious, also, do you put the engagement ring on another finger after you receive your wedding ring? I should know this, but I don’t, or I just don’t remember, sorry. : )
your Ring Can be whatever you choose to signify your marriage – doesn’t have to be just a band at all!
What most people do is not wear their engagement ring during the ceremony (many wear it on their Right Hand or have with their wedding ring if they’re a set) and then slip it on after the wedding band goes on so that wedding ring closest to the heart (I say on the inside) protected by the engagement ring..
If your engagement and wedding rings don’t ‘match’ you can wear your engagement ring on another finger but not necessary.
