What kind of digital photography program to create "professional" photos that look?
I bought an expensive digital SLR camera and I would find easy to use program to make my photos look professional. I want a program that allows basic editing, along with features as guests around images (blurry boundaries). Black and white, old finishes, etc. Nothing too fancy, but something that offers a more professional at a reasonable price. Any ideas? Can I download one or that one should buy?
Well, to be honest, 95% of the look "professional" is out of the camera. I like to spend much time figuring out how to use manual controls, and only with much practice. For some photo editing software, I naturally, I recommend Photoshop CS2 first. However, the CS3 is going to launch here in the coming months, if not mistaken. Photoshop (full version) runs about $ 700, but there is a low-end version called Photoshop Elements that runs for $ 99 and you can do all that basic editing, you just do not offer as much functionality as the full version. Some open source alternatives GIMP and Paint.NET. These costs you nothing, but in my opinion, the interface feels a bit antiquated compared to Photoshop.
